Creative Art Exploration. A Gift of Time Out
Creative Art Exploration. A Gift of Time Out
Give a Session as a Gift
If you have a friend, coworker, or family member who is grieving, from the loss of a loved one, a pet, or something deeply meaningful, an art exploration session can be a very considerate gift.
You know when you yourself need a break. And often we also know when others have worked overly hard, been through a lot, or are going through something heavy. In those moments, a quiet space for grounding, regulation, and creative process can mean more than words. It's better than a Spa Day for those who would never go to a spa day. It's a unique gift of self care, anyone can use.
We provide a gift certificate for session time, so you can give someone the gift of a break, a supportive presence, and a contained space to just be. We email you details, including a personal invitaion, that can be printed or sent to the recipient.
This is not about “fixing” anything. It’s about offering:
- A pause
- A steady, non-judgmental presence
- A chance to externalise and stabilise attention through creative process
- Time for nervous system recovery and emotional reset
Who This Is For
Gift sessions are especially meaningful for people who:
- Are grieving the loss of a loved one
- Have lost a pet and are navigating that grief
- Are experiencing burnout or chronic overwhelm
- Are in transition (moving, new role, loss of routine, isolation)
- Are high-functioning but internally stretched thin
- Don’t know how to ask for help or “take a break”
- Need something more supportive than talk, but not clinical or interpretive
This is particularly relevant for:
- Friends and partners of people in grief
- Colleagues who’ve seen someone work through something hard
- Family members who know someone is struggling but can’t name it
- Anyone who wants to give someone space to rest without pressure
What Kind of Session Can Be Given as a Gift?
You can gift:
- An art-based creative session (in person or online) most popular
- A peer-support conversation call or package (online by phone)
- An ADHD body doubling / Zoom co-working session(s)
The exact format is confirmed in an initial conversation, so the gift can be tailored to what the person needs at that time.
Gift Certificate
We provide a **gift certificate** for session time. This is not a generic voucher, but a simple, clear confirmation that someone has been given:
- A contained space
- A set amount of time
- A supportive, non-clinical presence
- No pressure to explain, justify, or perform
The certificate can be:
- Sent digitally
- Printed and given physically
- Shared directly with the recipient or through you
To Gift a Session
To arrange a gift session:
1. Get in touch via the [contact form]
2. Mention that you’d like to give a session as a gift
3. Share a bit about what you have in mind (format, timing, any preferences)
4. Final details are confirmed following an initial conversation
You don’t need to know all the details in advance. The initial conversation is where we shape what makes sense.
Why This Kind of Gift Matters
In grief, burnout, and overload, the hardest part is often:
- Feeling isolated in your experience
- Having no external validation for what you’re going through
- Being tired of being analysed or labelled
- Not knowing how to ask for the kind of support you actually need
A gift session is not about solving anything. It’s about:
- Offering a break
- Providing a steady, peer-led presence
- Creating a space where experience can unfold without interpretation
- Giving someone permission to slow down and be supported
If you know someone who is in that place, where connection is rare and the internal experience is hard to describe, this kind of gift can carry real value. And that value requires no explanation.
“You deserve a retreat / break / creative get-away to ground.”
