"I’ve spent a career immersed in how we see and how we make art; I believe that in an over-stimulated world, the simple act of marking a surface is a radical way to return to ourselves."
A different way to engage when words or conventional coping strategies have completely failed.

Art Therapy in Person in Nordsjælland & Copenhagen, and Online
Not everyone comes to art therapy with an "experience" to process, or a trauma to name.
A Third Way:
Beyond the Clinic and the Hobby
This practice occupies a space that is intentionally non-clinical and non-recreational. Many who find their way here aren’t looking for a therapist, a diagnosis, or a label. They are more interested in avoiding all of the above. They are looking for practical understanding and peer support to help navigate or scaffold conditions that are beyond their support group.
Though it seems information is available everywhere, true understanding from a personal perspective becomes very rare.
The focus is not on "making art," but on using the creative process as a direct, practical way to engage with your experience or your self. Whether you are navigating grief or trauma, attentional dysregulation, or the high-pressure demands of a professional life, we use materials to anchor attention and externalise what is often trapped in the body as trauma.
No background in art is required.
No diagnosis or labels are generated or necessary.
Physical Openness as an Element of Safety
Traditional clinical settings rely on small, enclosed offices behind closed doors. For an engaged survival system, those confined spaces can feel intensely restrictive or trigger an uncomfortable layer of pressure.
This practice shifts that dynamic by working one-on-one and entirely privately, but exclusively within open, unconfined, public spaces.
Operating side-by-side, or with a material buffer between us, completely removes the pressure of forced eye contact and formal clinical observation. You retain total physical agency over your environment, using the art materials as a grounding focus between us.
Working within the outside world, alongside a structured scaffolding partner, actively rebuilds safety where the outside world has previously become a source of threat to survival.
