so much weight has lifted off my shoulders."
One of the unique offers of my practice is not just never having to meet in an enclosed office, but where we do meet.
Sessions are site-responsive and take place one-on-one within safe and expansive, grounding, semi-public, open, environmental and cultural settings across Copenhagen and North Zealand (Nordsjælland). From the Beaches, Harbors, Woods, and Castles to Coffee spots, and Museums like the renowned Louisiana Museum, my favorite location once a week.
Coastal borders and quiet beach parks from Bellevue Strand in Klampenborg and Charlottenlund; to Nivå Strand and Babylon Beach in Humlebæk, and the dunes of Hornbæk.
Deep sensory decompression within the mild woodlands of Dyrehaven in Klampenborg, alternating at a favourite forest cafe near the Hermitage Hunting Lodge. More frequently on private forest trails of Babylon Woods and Laveskov in Humlebæk and Nivå.
Water and wind dynamics and spatial anchoring at Skovshoved Havn in Charlottenlund; to shifting coastal routes and harbors throughout Nivå Havn, Snekkersten, Sletten, and Hornbæk to Gilleleje Havn.
Midweek evening sessions my favorite location is at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art and Sculpture Garden in Humlebæk. The Nivågård Museum and seasonally botanic Gardens in Nivå. Also offered at The National Museum of Denmark (Nationalmuseet) in Copenhagen.
Urban routes and architectural grounding around Christiansborg Palace in central Copenhagen, Seasonally opportunities offered at Fredensborg Palace Gardens Frederiksborg Castle Gardens in Hillerød, and weekly at Kronborg Castle in Helsingør. Urban routs include Helsingor Stengade, and Copenhagen sessions are station-centric; among others, we work from Nørreport for Torvehallerne KBH, Kongens Nytorv for Nyhavn Harbor, and Vesterport for the Lakes.
Again, There is purpose to the environments, and it depends where I am each day, so this can include different locations. You may have one location you prefer or rotate between forest, beach, museum, or even online. My schedule is anchored midweek in the evening at the Louisiana Museum, and from there it moves across different locations throughout the week.
Most importantly, art therapy is a process-led practice of reset, recalibration, and regulation across the full range of human experience, well suited for trauma, and attention, grounding stress, grief, and burnout through to identity, awareness, and mindfulness. You don’t need any diagnosis to reach out or participate.
