GENERAL PRACTICE STRUCTURE
What kind of practice is this?
This is a peer-led trauma support practice using conversation, material externalization, and attention-based co-regulation. It is designed for adults who want support that is practical, grounded, and usable in real life. This is non-clinical support. It is not medical care, psychotherapy, or an emergency service. It does not depend on diagnosis, treatment framing, or clinical assessment.
What makes this different from clinical therapy?
This is not licensed psychotherapy or medical treatment. It is a completely independent support space that prioritizes shared attention rather than clinical interpretation, material processes rather than verbal analysis alone, and non-diagnostic containment rather than medical treatment plans.
What makes this different from coaching?
Coaching is typically goal-driven and performance-oriented. This practice does not focus on optimization or productivity. It prioritizes nervous system regulation before action, environmental containment before planning, and stability before output.
Who is this for?
This practice is for adults navigating relationship trauma, complex stress, burnout, grief, emotional overload, attention instability, or situations that feel difficult to explain. It is especially relevant for people who feel overextended, isolated, or tired of translating their experience into clinical language.
Who is this not for?
This practice is not suitable for acute psychiatric crises, emergency situations, or cases requiring immediate medical intervention. It is not a replacement for psychotherapy, psychiatric care, or crisis services. If someone is in immediate danger, local emergency support services must be used.
TRAUMA & RELATIONAL SUPPORT
What if I don't want to talk about or relive my history?
You do not have to. Traditional talk therapy can sometimes force you to repeat or re-trigger deep, painful histories. This somatic framework functions like boxing pads—shifting the pressure from internal sparring onto an external, physical target. By putting overwhelming internal stress into a tangible, externalized form on a physical page, your nervous system can observe and regulate it safely, side-by-side, without the exhaustion of intense eye contact or recounting stories you prefer to leave untouched.
What outcomes do people typically experience in trauma support?
People often seek out this framework for grounding, regulation, focus, and containment. The process-led structure supports a reduction in emotional flooding, interrupts chronic mental looping, and stabilizes attention when working through the isolation of prolonged relational stress. This is a support-based practice focused on regulation and lived experience rather than a medical treatment model.
Why art?
Art helps when words are not accessible. For an over-stimulated or hyper-vigilant nervous system, direct verbal processing can feel intensely activating or repeat the trauma loop. Shifting to a physical page creates a safe container and an objective boundary, allowing gradual regulation without forcing an explanation.
Why peer-led support?
Peer-led support is grounded in lived understanding rather than detached clinical interpretation. It provides an unmasked space that bridges the gap when friends, family, or traditional systems lack a personal understanding of complex relational environments and narcissistic abuse dynamics.
PHYSICAL SAFETY & SESSION ENVIRONMENTS
Where do in-person sessions take place?
To ensure absolute physical agency and eliminate the trapping pressure of traditional clinical setups, in-person sessions are held exclusively within open, unconfined, semi-public natural and cultural environments across Copenhagen and North Zealand (Nordsjælland). We work one-on-one and entirely privately, but entirely outside the walls of a closed office.
Why do you work in open public spaces instead of a closed office?
Traditional clinical settings rely on small, enclosed offices behind closed doors. For an engaged survival system, those confined spaces can feel intensely restrictive or trigger a defensive trapping sensation.
Operating side-by-side in open environments—such as beaches, forests, or museum floors—completely removes the pressure of forced eye contact and formal clinical observation. You retain total physical agency over your environment, using the art materials as a grounding focus between us. Working within the outside world, alongside a structured scaffolding partner, actively rebuilds a sense of safe environmental control where the outside world has previously become a source of threat to survival.
ATTENTION, ADHD & BODY DOUBLING
Is this suitable for ADHD or AuDHD?
Yes. This work is highly suited for ADHD and AuDHD experiences. It provides an external, material structure to hold onto, which helps initiate tasks, reduce sensory overload, and interrupt fragmented or looping thoughts. No formal diagnosis is required.
How does this practice approach the nuances of ADHD, RSD, or PDA?
This practice is informed directly by the functional realities of neurodivergence, including executive dysfunction, Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA). We do not focus on behavior modification or performative productivity. Instead, we use short, structured focus intervals and physical material anchors to reduce cognitive load and sensory overwhelm, making it safe to initiate tasks without masking or internal strain.
Do you offer online body doubling?
Yes. Live Zoom body-doubling and virtual co-working support are available specifically for ADHD, AuDHD, and attention stabilization. These are real-time, shared-presence sessions where you work on your own tasks while I work in parallel. The presence of a structured partner provides external accountability, supports task initiation, and stabilizes focus through co-regulation. It is not coaching, instruction, or supervision.
What is body doubling useful for?
Body doubling can support attention instability, task avoidance, executive function overload, burnout states, and cognitive fragmentation. The focus is shared structure, not performance.
LOGISTICS & FEES
Is this an art class, and do I need artistic experience?
No. There is no instruction, grading, or technique evaluation. Art materials are used strictly as a non-verbal process tool for attention anchoring and affect regulation. There is no expectation of producing finished or aesthetically pleasing work.
What language are sessions in?
All formal sessions are conducted in English. Danish may be used informally, but English is the primary working language.
Is this available for internationals and expats?
Yes. This practice is widely used by internationals and expats managing high-stress professional lives in Denmark, particularly where language barriers or a lack of local support networks make finding independent assistance difficult.
Do you offer couples therapy or relationship counselling?
No. This practice does not offer couples therapy, relationship counseling, or dyadic therapeutic work. While I specialize heavily in the aftermath of relationship trauma and controlling dynamics, individual support is strictly one-to-one.
Do you offer corporate or organizational work?
Yes, but this is handled entirely separate from the one-to-one practice. Facilitation, workshops, and consulting for organizational cohesion or executive burnout prevention are arranged independently.
How often do people attend sessions?
There is no fixed frequency. Sessions are completely flexible to match your capacity and stress levels, available on a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or ad-hoc basis.
How much does it cost?
Fees are shaped by session format, billing country, and scope. Engagements typically begin from 500 DKK for remote support calls and 1,000 DKK for in-person environmental sessions. Final pricing is confirmed before the first session begins.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Sessions are completely private, confidential, and protected within an independent framework. This is a non-reporting practice with no shared medical files or shared diagnostic records.
Can I bring my dog or child?
Yes. Dogs are welcome if the outdoor venue or setting allows them. Infants are generally fine depending on the specific environmental pacing we choose.
Do you work with children?
No. This practice is strictly for adults.
